Do Employers Have Any Rights?
So long as there is not a law or policy to the contrary, the employer may conduct its business any way it sees fit. As a general rule, it may hire and fire at will, so long as it does so in a non-discriminatory manner, does not violate public policy, and acts according to its personnel policies and practices.
