i) As per 1 July 2016, the last part of the Labour Market Fraud (Bogus Schemes) Act (Wet Aanpak schijnconstructies) will enter into effect. As a result of this Act, an employer is (among other things) obliged to pay the statutory minimum wage by bank transfer. The employer is also obliged to specify the payslip. Furthermore, deduction from the statutory minimum wage has become more complicated.
ii) As per 1 July 2016, the last part of the Working Beyond State Pension Age Act (Wet werken na AOW-leeftijd) will enter into effect. With this Act, the government seeks to stimulate continuance of work after reaching the retirement age.
