The Russian Ministry of Labour drafted a bill aimed at simplifying HR record management in “microenterprises” (companies having no more than 15 employees and no more than 120 mln Rub (approx. 2 mln USD) as annual revenue). Such companies will be allowed to NOT make records in employees’ labour books (document that confirms employment history) if so agreed with the employee. In this case, an employment agreement will confirm the period of employment. At dismissal, the company will make a record of the termination date in the employment agreement. Also, “microenterprises” will be allowed to NOT adopt local normative acts and schedules of vacations. At the moment, the bill is a subject of public discussion.
