A massive project that aims to reform the Labour Code is awaiting debates in plenary at the decisional Chamber (the Deputies Chamber) after its adoption by the first Chamber (the Senate). Talks between the working committee and representatives of both the employers’ and employees’ organizations have led to a series of amendments made to the form that was adopted by the Senate earlier this year. Plenary debates are expected to take place until the end of this year. Even if there is no clear information about the final form of the new law at this moment, it is certain that the changes will have a significant impact.
