Romania: Legislation concerning Transnational Detachment of Workers opened for Public Discussion

Both the Labour Ministry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have recently published, for public discussions, legislative projects concerning the transnational detachment of workers and other issues concerning the free movement of the workforce, including the movement of the workforce from non-EU countries into Romania, as a result of the recent developments in migration that affected Europe. The legislative changes are expected to come into force over the next few months.
