A new addition to the Romanian law for data protection states that the courts can request access to data that the providers of publicly available electronic communications networks and providers of public electronic communications hold on specific individuals. The new provisions concern any type of court, meaning that if necessary, this judicial access can be used in labor law related cases, especially in cases involving disciplinary action.
