The new law 17/2015 of the National Civil Protection System, entered into force on January 10, 2016. This law entitles the Company to apply labour specific measures when an area has been declared severely affected by an emergency of civil protection. The Company will be entitled to:
- Finish or suspend the employment contract as well as reducing the working hours. All of these measures will be considered as a force majeure issue.
- Moratorium of up to a year on Social Security payments without interest.
- Refund of the tax paid corresponding to the tax exemptions or moratorium approved.
