On October 27, Draft Official Standard PROY-NOM-034-STPS-2015 was published in the Official Gazette, which provides for safety conditions for the accessibility and development of activities assigned to disabled employees in the work centers. This Draft Standard complements the Federal Health and Safety Regulations published in the Official Gazette on November 11, 2014 and its objectives are the provision of a reference framework for those employers willing to hire disabled employees so they (employers) may instrument accessibility conditions, as well as protecting workers’ physical integrity and health.
