Act of Parliament adopted, known as the Loi Rebsamen (Loi n° 2015-994 relative au dialogue social et à l’emploi, dated 17th August 2015 and published in the Journal Officiel on 18th August. It deals essentially with staff representative bodies: depending on company size, such bodies may henceforth be pooled; only three major information/consultation sessions need be held with the Works Council, rather than 17 recurrent ones; 3 major issues must be covered during negotiations. Changes to the rules for the Health & Safety Committee; collective negotiations with staff delegates or staff members who hold an ad hoc mandate will henceforth be easier and improvements have been made to staff representative status. Arrangements for organising sessions with staff representative bodies will henceforth be more flexible. There are changes to the law on Health & Safety at work.
