Act of Parliament adopted known as the Loi Macron (Loi n° 2015-990 pour la croissance et l’activité) dated 6th August 2015 and published in the Journal Officiel on 7th August. The Act defines new arrangements for employee savings and shareholding plans, Sunday and evening work, redundancy (licenciement économique), the Industrial Tribunals, combatting illicit employment and fraudulent secondment arrangements. There are also new rules for informing the workforce when a company is being sold, as well as more flexible ones for job-security agreements. The law on staff representative bodies has been amended in relation to the Health & Safety Committee Agenda, staff elections and sanctions for the offence known as ‘obstruction’ (délit d’entrave).
