The means of evaluating a worker’s state of health were modified by the new Labour law of August 8, 2016. The application decree of this new system has been published. It sets out the conditions for the initial medical consultations and their periodic renewal depending on the position, the professional risks that the worker is exposed to, as well as the age and health condition of the worker. It specifies the means of monitoring applicable to workers hired under a temporary or fixed term contract. These provisions entered into force on January 1st.
